As an AI inventor, best-selling author, consultant, and public speaker on the intersection of AI + generosity, Nathan is known for his ability to think like a futurist while leading with the heart of a humanist. His award-winning book, Generosity Crisis: The Case for Radical Connection to Solve Humanity’s Greatest Challenges, has been praised as “required reading for our generation of nonprofit professionals” by NonProfit Pro.

With over two decades of nonprofit leadership and consulting experience, Nathan is a sought-after keynote speaker whose insights have been featured by NPR, Forbes, Fast Company, and The Chronicle of Philanthropy, among others. His speaking engagements and workshops have garnered acclaim from multinational corporations, grassroots organizations, and public institutions alike.

Nathan serves as Chief AI Officer at Virtuous Software, where he supports AI integration that helps nonprofit organizations amplify mission at scale. In 2019 he founded Fundraising.AI, a global advocacy initiative promoting the Responsible and Beneficial use of AI, and launched the first open-source framework for nonprofits — now represented in over 140 countries. He also co-hosts the Fundraising.AI Podcast, recognized as one of the world’s top nonprofit technology podcasts.

His expertise is sought globally, with advisory roles at the OpenAI Users Forum, the AI for Good Foundation, the International Committee for Information Technology Standards (INCITS), and the Forbes Technology Council.

Nathan holds a Master’s in Nonprofit Administration from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA from the University of Redlands, a certificate in International Economics from the University of Cambridge, and a certificate in Artificial Intelligence from MIT. He also holds a certificate in Philanthropic Psychology from the Institute of Sustainable Philanthropy and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
